Our Story-
Celebrating our first
39 YEARS!
Back when Glendale was “The place to be” and LoDo was skid-row, identical twin Brothers, Dale and Dean Peterson built what would eventually become a Colorado Landmark. The year was 1971 and the Landmark is the Bull & Bush.
Modeled after the original Bull & Bush, which is located in Hampstead Heath near London, and dates back to 1645. The Colorado version is richly filled with pictures, history, and the original, now-warped, copper bar.
Soon after opening its doors, two satellite dishes were placed on the roof bringing in sporting events from across the nation and around the world, thus creating the nation’s first “Sports Bar.” Much has changed since then but throughout the years, the Bull & Bush has always remained relaxed and friendly.
Now, 39 years later, the second generation of Peterson brothers are thankful for being part of this Colorado institution.
Being a true neighborhood pub, and awarded “Best Brewpub” by Westword- Best of Denver and 5280 Magazine-Top of the Town , we here at the Bull & Bush Pub & Brewery hope that the next 39 years will be as successful as the last.
Thank YOU for being a part of our story!
